The South Philadelphia High School Army JROTC Battalion will be participating in the 2016 Philadelphia Veterans Parade! The mission of JROTC is to motivate young people to be better citizens. We believe that through leadership training, community service, service learning, high academic achievement, and a willingness to contribute time and energy for the benefit of others, helps prepare cadets to be lifelong learns and contribute in a global society.
The South Philadelphia HS JROTC was started in 1995.Over the past 4 years, the JROTC Battalion contributed in excess of 5,000 community service hours. JROTC cadets have a higher graduation rate than the overall school average !
